The Model V-44G Video Distribution Amplifier consists of a Model 512 Power Supply and 4-Model 404G Video Distribution Amplifiers with 6db of Gain which are mounted on a Model H-5/V Panel Chassis. Each of the 4 channels has 1 Input, a gain pot, and 4 Outputs

The back panel has four 12-terminal barrier strips for input-outputs. There is one input (loop-thru) and four outputs for each of the 4 channels.

Model V-44G is designed to provide up to 4 Channels of Distribution / Isolation of Video signals & amplification.

A Video Distribution Amplifier (also known as a distribution amp or VDA) takes a video signal as an input, amplifies it, and outputs the amplified video signal to two or more outputs. It is primarily used to supply a single video signal to multiple pieces of video equipment.

Video signals can suffer deterioration over relatively short cable distances. To compensate for that loss, a Video Distribution Amplifier (VDA) is used. A VDA adjusts the amplitude of a video signal to compensate for loss of signal in a video distribution system. Extending the distance of the video signal is the main purpose of the VDA.

Model V-44

Similar to Model V-44G, although the internal amplifiers are Model 404. Each of the 4 channels has 1 Input and 4 Outputs.
